This case of six 14x20x1 pleated air filters in a MERV 8 rating is a great option when you desire a great level of protection for your expensive heating and air conditioning equipment and also want to control the amount of allergens floating in your indoor air. Our MERV 8 rated filter will capture 1 – 3 micron particles with a 61.5% efficiency. Particles ranging from 3 – 10 microns, which is the size range of the majority of common allergens, will be captured at an efficiency of 72.9%. Our 14x20x1 filters with an exact size of 13-1/2″ x 19-1/2″ x 3/4″ are designed to fit a 14x20x1 filter slot. All filters come with a nominal (approximate) size and an exact size which is always slightly smaller. This is the standard in air filter manufacturing.
