MERV 13 is our highest rating and is the perfect choice when you have severe allergies or desire the highest level of indoor air quality. These will capture 1 micron particles at an 80% efficiency. MERV 13 will even collect particles as small as 0.3 microns. That means you will be capturing attached viruses and bacteria in addition to the smallest sub-pollen particles that can reach the lower respiratory tract and trigger allergic responses.
