These will collect 1 micron particles at an 80 percent efficiency. MERV 13 will even accumulate particles as minute as 0.3 microns. That means you will be collecting attached viruses and bacteria in addition to the smallest sub-pollen particles that can make their way into the lower respiratory tract and trigger allergic responses.
