MERV 13 is our highest rating and is the ideal choice when you have serious allergies or seek the top level of indoor air quality. These will trap 1 micron particles at an eighty percent efficiency. MERV 13 will even gather particles as tiny as 0.3 microns. That means you will be trapping attached viruses and bacteria in addition to the tiniest sub-pollen particles that can enter the lower airways and trigger allergic reactions.
